Verminator Killed In 10 Seconds, Astonishing Damage

Thanks to peterplaysbass, who told me of an awesome way to do sick damage in Secret of Evermore in the comment section for my previous Verminator kill. This trick cut my previous time by 60%.

Obviously it is MUCH more fun to take him out with the spear and let him actually fling a few spells at you, but if you're frustrated as all hell and if you're just trying to get by this guy (or if you're doing a speedrun), this is the way to take Verminator out cleanly and quickly.

what what the? for me i i could only cast spells 2 times and then you will have to wait for them to finish. how did you do this?

You have to be controlling the dog. Then you can cast spells as fast as you can press buttons.

Nice. You have to be the DOG in order to cast up to 8 spells with the boy...never knew that. ZOMG this game is dead now =)

Yep, that's what peterplaysbass told me which is why I rerecorded the vid from the original 24 second kill. I did this on an emulator but of course it works just as well on the original console. Have fun slaughtering everything!

@aicdtrip Agreed! He killed me several times my first playthrough.

@pwnatornr1 The way I did it was to save up as many call beads as I could. If you have enough all you have to do is unload on him and its easy.

I spent weeks on this guy as a kid. Harder than the final boss IMO.
