Prachi & Surya are first as well as youngest in America to sing American National Anthem while playing Harmonium Aug 2007, Prachi is first to recite a Shabad in a Assembly Hall of America (NJ) in March 2006, both are first to recite Goddess Durga Prayer in Sanskrit, Vande Matram and Shabad Kirtan recital Vahe Guru on American TV NJN12 in Aug 2007. Their programme was telecasted by NJN 12 TV 7 times in prime morning & evening hours. They are the youngest US born children who got 1/2 hour to recite Shabad Kirtan in a Gurudwara Sahib of America on 8-17-08 at Gurudwara Sahib Glen Cove in NY. They are also the youngest in America to have devotional CD's Narayan for Bhajans & Ek Omkar for Shabad Kirtan.

US born Prachi & Surya can sing in 4 Languages; Sanskrit, English, Punjabi and Hindi. Prachi plays Harmonium & Violin and Surya Plays Tabla, Punjabi Dhool, Harmonium and recently started learning Saxophone.

I see that so many people post videos of their children singing hymns. Some of the children seem to be doing so for their parents. In cases like the above video, it is difficult to not hear the devotion in their voices. I am reminded that I am still such a child when it comes to devotion, I know nothing. Hail mother!
