What a result 10.5m into a kicker under an old railway bridge and then a second shift, just around the corner oh no! 9pm away from site gutted!!!!!!!

  • A disturbing and fair point, i couldn't say if the device you mention was used or not as my priority is the pump and the operational safety there of.

  • If you don't have an oil catcher on the lance, you might as well chuck a bucket of MRO over the whole job.

    We supply placement teams and 3yrs ago had a kicker fail. The engineers report found oil residue on the steel and on the 'keyed' areas.

    Probably due to one such moron.

  • it my look as though he is spraying some sort of oil however i can say for sure he was only using compressor air lance to blow the existing dust and debris out of the kicker.
