  • Gorgeous ! I wanna go !!

  • @angloyank The West Country is blessed with such natural beauty - I bet those people who are lucky to live there paid a premium just for the location - I'd love to visit there as well!!

  • hey this was in a bike commercial.. or maybe i was bread

  • I would get a ghetto blaster and pump out the Hovis ad music goin down there, Probably get chased of by some of locals mind lad.

  • what year was that filmed

  • I used to walk up Gold Hill on the way to the swimming pool in town, back then the cattle market was still there and so was the cinema. A great place to grow up and the best views for miles can be found on Abbey Walk. Hovis was never baked there and hopefully never will be.

  • Glad I don't live there not with this bloody snow and ice

  • I wonder if the large model Hovis loaf is still at the top of the hill?

  • @PM1970 I've never asked anyone, but I can imagine that location is what determines the price to live there. Shaftsbury has many other spectacular viewpoints besides this one!

  • It's amazing! It will take your breath away! Shaftsbury is a wonderful town indeed. Nice restaurants there as well: the Salt Cellar cafe right at the top of this very hill, and the Half Moon on the outskirts of town.
