Believe it or not , he once resisted his inner animal like Logan but over time he became more aggressive and selfish , abandoning his Team X teammates to die and shunning Logan as a deserter and traitor when he refused to do the same . This led Victor to fully embrace his inner animal and swear vengeance against Logan and all his loved ones .

@dovie317 Um , actually in this film Victor was basically a merger of Dog Logan ( James " Logan " Howlett/Wolverine`s paternal half-brother )and 616 Sabretooth while Tyler Mane`s incarnation was basically the Ultimate version minus the Adamantium and personality and plus pure black eyes . I didn`t mind as I hate how The Cartoons & Video Games tend to oversimplify their feud to " I`m gonna kill ya , runt " , " Not if I kill ya first , bub " when in The Comics , it was more complex .

No, they are NOT brothers, hollywood seriously screwed that up. They're not related at all. Victor Creed was a serial killer and it's believe their feud started when he killed someone Logan held dear.
