  • dreamf, there is nothing incorrect going on here. The riders hands are not too high, egasserd. And no, this rider does not ride him 'like a tractor". I have no idea why you people are being so incredibly nasty, but you are showing a LOT of ignorance and nastiness as well. The horse is not stiff, she is not holding him up...you folks may think you know a lot but you don't.

  • This is a gorgeous horse and rider pair and can't wait to apply some of the shown techniques to improve my event horse's dressage scores! Thanks for posting!

  • hey guys i just wanted to put it out there and see what people think! im a young event rider and im on the long list for the europeans but my problem is my mare gets extremely tense in the dressage arena and acts up (wrong strike off canter, on forhand etc...) any suggestions as to how i get a solution?? :)

  • The ridder is verry good!!! well done

  • This is the typical dressage video, it says "I will explain this and that" and then it explains nothing. I see you ride Jennifer, that's all I do. You do not explain anything. I don't have a clue as to what you are trying to teach. It is nice riding though.

  • OMG... what a beautiful horse...

  • i don't understand the critics of some people here. this horse is never btv (behind the vertical). he seams to be happy and relaxed. no tension there. the rider sits so beautiful and still, she never is disturbing the movements of the horse. And you should all consider that this horse is in training and is not yet a fully trained Grand prix horse. i wonder if the people crtitsising her know how difficult it is to train a horse in a good way

  • that was good work from rider and horse. very nice to look at. working on circles and changing tempo is what i do as well and it works. i liked to see how relaxed he is in the end. good rider and talented horse.

  • this rider is just totally hanging on the horse's mouth and so it looks like a game of tug-of-war between the two.

Dressage is supposed to look effortless, pleasant, and horse and rider should be happy, not this tense, hanging that I see.

rider, please try to use your seat and not your hands (oh, and half-halts would work to get the horse off his forhand).

  • what are you all taking about with the BTV thing

  • Horse is BTV .... How is that wonderful ??? I guess people are so used to see horses ridden BTV that it is beautiful now ???? Please ....it is not because the horse is gorgeous that all is correct ; this is what happens at dressage shows , I notice that riders with big expensive imports get better scores because their mistakes look PRETTIER .... America wake up people

  • Horse is BTV and her hands are NOT in a giving way ??? seriously what is this ?? is that the best American has to offer ..... someone has to go back to germany for more training
