  • Toni sure was Girlfriends, when she left, the show went downhill. I still watched it out of loyalty, but it was NEVER the same after that. We needed her wit on the show.

  • Agreed. Even if epople didn't like Toni the show losta huge part of it's appeal. It was almost completely boring for me. I had less interest in the show for sure. I also hated them changing Jabari. Anywho Toni may not have been liked but all but she and Maya were the main source of comedy, moreso with their families. Jenifer Lewis as Toni's mom = PRICELESS entertainment!

  • @kalinfan91 ha kalinfan but I do like your name

  • love Girlfriends bet needs to bring it back!!

  • i must agree,, she was girlfriends

  • Im finally catching up with the re-runs to this series. There was a show with a similar cast all female with Queen Latifha (sorry about the mis spelling). That aired in the 1990's on the WB I think. Im happy that many shows have been green lite in Hollywood in relation to ethnic diversity. About the big lips thing? There are many persons of color from many Middle eastern,Island and indian countries with course hair, pronounced nasal and lips. Beauty is skin deep

  • you mean desinty child

  • @Boicovich you made yourself sound white mentioning racism, dumbass! I didn't come at you with disrespect so I suggest you don't come with all that stfu bs. I'm not stuck on race and I don't think about race so funny how you peg me as the one giving someone a bad name. Don't get upset bc your stupid brainwashed ass thinks characteristics of what i'm assuming is your own race are ugly. There are plenty of fools just like you, don't worry. & wtf is the persona of a white person exactly???

  • @carolinaAzz555 I'm not even white. just because I have the persona of a "white" person does not m,ake me white. I think you are the racist making a big deal out of nothing. it's black people like you which give us all a bad name. always gotta be so goddamn sensitive over other opinions because it offends you just shut the fuck up and move on

  • @Boicovich Tbh, I actually didn't know & didn't care what skin color you were. I wouldve said the same thing to a black person. But if I were you I'd steer clear from the big lips description altogether. That coming from a white person is def not a good look. Big lips are associated with blacks, period. In school, we once had a caricaturist come & every black he drew ended up looking exactly the same. No matter how big their lips/nose were, he incr both by about 20%. It was insulting.

  • @carolinaAzz555 I'm saying that I think Lynn is pretty because she sends off a vibe of the laid back type. she's attractive even without her "LightSkin" Toni is Not Pretty to me and it has nothing to do with her Skin Color. as for the Big Lips, ok it may be dominat amongst blacks But White people have them to OMG stop trying to call me a racist

  • @Boicovich I just came from a vid talking about how people discriminate between light & dark skinned girls & it looks like I stumbled across a case of it. I had nothing against any of the gfs but I have never heard somebody put Lynn over Maya and Toni so I'm curious to know what you see in her character. I can understand Joan (Traci). Big lips is a pretty dominant trait among blacks so what exactly are you trying to say?
