hiromi will perform on the 31th of july, in Jazz in Marciac. I'm waiting for that great moment !

One of her favorites was Errol Garner. Garner learned to play in church for choirs. He was about the same size (5'-0 if he stood ion phone books) and swayed from side to side to reach the keys. Because he played for choirs he had a big left hand. A good album of his is "Concert by the Sea", 1955. It's an interesting comparison with this terrific woman. If you haven't seen her make sure you do. I saw her in a club that sat 120 people. She and her bandmates were astonishing.
