Thanks so much for this Jim, am finding the concept of not trying really liberating! I think its what's known as a 'paradoxical injunction'!

For a protracted period a few years ago, I was in the place of not trying, and actually it is the place where I got a phenomenal amount of stuff done. I've spent so much time trying so hard to get back there. Your little reminder made me laugh at me!! Thanks, Jim.

@gerrycam11 Yes, it's amazing how much we can get done when we let go of the struggle.

Jim,
I'm compelled to ask that if we enter a state of not trying, how do we succeed in accomplishing anything?
Now I've always had my mind tell me that if O 'try' or 'strive' to accomplish the simplest task, I'm only making it difficult.
But I'm not certain if you're implying that we can literally perform our daily tasks without struggle -- which would make sense on some spiritual level -- but I don't see it in your video. How safe is it to do things with minimal effort?
Thanks,
Averroes

Very good questions, Averroes.
We can certainly do things with the minimum required effort. There is more info in the video "4 Steps to Handle Overwhelm".
