Who needs that ol' rust gas tank in the back. We put in the front to save weight, and make the gas go faster, just like them drag cars.

  • Well, *that* was frightening.

  • @rondogwil 1, if you like the style of wheel, it never goes "out of style". 2, cars being restored sometimes need be moved for various reasons. Keeping relatively fresh tires can aid in that... and a couple of years isn't going to rot tires.

  • Cool project. But why do people buy wheels and tires first? Most self restore jobs take a couple years at least, and by then the tires are rotten and the wheels are out of style.
