Hey Samantha,

Honestly, I do not pick the notes exactly like the song is originally played. I believe the original song uses a 3 note format from the lower strings to the higher strings. I simply make a similar pattern of picking out the notes from low to high. I believe you can see that in the video. I wish I could be more help but I really just wing all the covers to sound similar and I just try to make them fit me.

hiya, i have most of the song down, but i just can't figure out the string picking to the intro... could you help me out? i don't know what fingers are suppose to pick what string... Best I can do is to tell you to just pick up a guitar and learn the basic chords (E,A,D,G,B,F,C) and play around with them until you find your own style. Have fun with it and if you really are meant to play a guitar then you will find the passion and desire for it by doing the above. Good Luck...TJ
