http://www.ntv.co.ke As the much talked about Global Climate Change Summit begins in Copenhagen, Denmark, leading mobile phones manufacturer Nokia is pushing for recycling of mobile phones and electronics as a move that will considerably reduce global warming. Nokia officials argue that if everyone who owns a phone recycled just one old or spoilt phone, 240,000 tonnes of raw material would be generated thus eliminating the need to expend energy to extract new materials from the earth. Kaara Wainaina, who is in Cairo, Egypt, has some more details on how recycling of mobile phones can help turn down the heat.
I met a girl who works for Nokia at an Art Gallery and she was telling me of all the great things you guys are doing with regards to recycling. Good Job Nokia.
