This helicopter landed in the middle of the road, on Lakewood Blvd. In Long Beach, CA. We drove by before the police and firemen arrived.

The Pilot did the right thing in an emergency landing, get her down and get her down as quick and as safe as you can, well in a helicopter at least, in a plane you can take it alittle slower.

Your actually correct. If there is no damage to people or property on the ground especially in an emergency situation as the pilot deems necessary, no fine or action will be taken against the company, owner or pilot. The pilot has the right to do whatever necessary to insure the safety of his crew, passengers and persons on the ground.
