This piece was my introduction to Bach, who - like "classical music" - meant nothing to me. Badinerie was used in TV. I wanted to buy the record. "Unfortunately" it was not a single. I got this LP with the 2nd and 3rd suite, which I never expected to like. But the record ended up on the turntable, just to hear Badinerie. As this piece was so short I often played the entire record as "background music". But one day I started to listen, and as a drug Bach entered my soul, never to leave.
