Stupid, archaic, old-fashioned tips. This guy is playing golf in the dark ages.....

@aspiceno You are OBVIOUSLY not an instructor, because a good instructor will try and give his students the information they need to become better golfer in a simple and concise manner. The "handshake" postions AND the "tray" position can be seen in Ernie Els, Tiger Woods, David Love,III and all the top golfers. As my late father used to say "If you don't have aything positive to add to the conversation, keep quite!"

Thanks Mel - quick question! Where is the position of the handshake? Meaning, is it directly behind the ball or slightly to the inside?

@tobcoffey The hand position is along the toe line halfway back.

GREAT video Mel, really appreciate you posting this.
Like many other high handicappers I am working on an 'over the top' problem, my PGA pro has me dropping the hands whilst maintaining the shoulders position to start the downswing, I'm really struggling, this video seems like a very natural move to me.....will be taking my notes to the range this evening and giving this drill a shot.
Thanks again mate.
