BBC reports it lost all (3 sets?) of copies of the tapes of all its TV- transmission on 9/11 due to "cock-up". Just like Nasa lost the original tapes of the Apollo 11 Moonwalk. It's a bit strange, would it not be rather important to see to it that tapes of important events are preserved?
