  • Thanks. You would be surprised at what you can do.

  • Thanks hyperfocus2011. It was a tough course because you could not do everything on the course or you would be disqualified. You had to pick which obstacles would give the most points plus your speed is figured in. We took 6th in amateur.

  • SoldByBrock I would like to see your video of doing a extreme course.

  • It is easy to sit on the side lines and say this and that. When you are doing it ,it is another story. She does know neutral with my seat but when you are in a situation with excitement all around , they don't always listen. She was wound up and trying to buck through the whole course. When you see her head tossing it is because she was putting it down to buck and I was asking it to come up. The mouth gaping is her evading the bit. She did not like the snaffle bit but did come to do better.

  • Thanks for watching.Yes, Foundation Quarter horse. It is a big stocky Mare. Unfortunately she is retired due to a stifle injury.

  • your horse must trust you a lot!!!

  • @christielovesdexter

That is why I rode in it to see where our relationship was at. Also to find the things we needed to work on. Thanks for watching.

  • Wow my horse would suck at this! Well done!

  • this is the amateur class??? do I need wings for the pro course! good job!

  • watch her mouth as she is always opening her mouth trying to get away from the bit because of micro-management on your part .... also her hear tossing is a lack of confidence on her part as well

  • you need to teach her 'neutral' and teach her how to slow down with your body so you are not always micro-managing her with the reins and the bit

  • LOVE this big stocky horse! He is a quarter?
