SNES Macross - Scrambled Valkyrie

If you ever asked me for top shooters on the SNES, Choujikuu Yousai Macross: Scrambled Valkyrie would be one of the first I would mention. If youre familiar with Macross (wich was completly butchered for the US, know as Robotech), then you will not find strange to know that the ship on this game (a variable fighter) can easly switch between 3 modes: Fighter/GERWALK/Battroid. On this particular game, each represents different weapons for each of the 3 available pilots (Rick, Max or Millia). So theres a lot of strategy envolved to switch to each different mode in the correct situation. As if thats not enough to keep you busy, you can also try to turn the Zentradi enemies to your side as well (you will see me do this in the clip). Gorgeous graphics, great gameplay, good sound, what more could you want? Excelent game from Zamuse. I would like to see it released in the west, like many of my favorite SNES games, it never left Japan. Enjoy the clip!

@ShiryuGL yeah harmony gold regretting is regretting their decision now though, a lot of my gamer/anime friends have this game (modded for english text, of course) saved with our emulator packs. i think the increased interest in macross is why they have been releasing alot more of their games here cause they realize their is a market here for those games. too bad they pulled the trigger too late though they could've made alot during the snes era.

@gunsniper0018 Nintendo had very hars policies bacjk then, made a huge profit on each cartridge dale. It was very risky bussiness to release games outside of Japan for small companies. There are so many games like this id rather not thing about it. It's our denied childhood.
