My Sgambati set arrived today. Just listening to the Op.23 "Pieces Lyriques" which is the unplayable (for me) set I have.
Well worth a look if you can trace a copy.

Thanks for your kind comment. I should play some more by him but the Mélodies poétiques is the only set of pieces I currently have. I must also see if I can play something by his younger contemporary Martucci.

I am delighted to see somebody on here playing Sgambati. I have a volume of music of his which includes a work called "Vox Populi" which caught my imagination as a child though a little beyond my capabilities.
Just ordered the complete piano works. From your videos it looks like money well spent. Many thanks.
