And just four days ago, I finally came to witness one of their live shows. Damn, they became even better over the years. Without any swelling of heads. Can't say that about most bands...

Those sneaky english bastards!!! haha I love the damned! Without a doubt, my favorite english punk band. I'm not a huge fan of the early english punk scene, (Definitley a New York guy) but the Damned are great, they didn't play cookie cutter punk at all. They added some goth into the mix and inspired alot of great bands. As for the Offspring's version, I mean its not bad and I don't think that they are a bad band, but it really doesnt compare to this version,,,,

First time I heard this I was 14 years old and Offspring played it. When I hit 18 I learned it was by the Damned and I can say now that the original is by far the best.
