And thus ends the best Sonic game in years.
My final thoughts on the game? This was such a blast to play. You can tell I liked it, because, OMG ACE UPLOADED VIDEOS OF A MODERN SONIC GAME.

If you haven't brought it yet - do so.
It is a really good game. Out of the entire game, there's a mere 3 levels (one of which is Egg Dragoon) that I dislike, and that's a hell of a good ratio for a Sonic game.
(For those wondering, the other two areas are Crisis City Act 2 because it's cheap, and Planet Wisp Act 1, because it just isn't fun.)

If I do any other modern boss runs in the future, it'll probably be in this fashion, because, as I said, I'm on a slow upload and files take an age to export and edit.
Retro games, which by their nature are small files, will still be one or two videos.

I hope you enjoyed watching! Catch you soon!

  • I'm interested in how you reacted/felt when you first saw the clips from past Sonic games during the credits.

  • @phanface For some reason, I kept thinking "surely they could've gotten a better Sonic player for these clips".

But otherwise, I thought it was a nice inclusion.

I'm mostly pleased with the fact it's a Medley. That brought a fond nostaglia flood back to me.

Less so for the Heroes onwards part, but the thought is nice.

I am a bit miffed they exlcusively used Modern Sonic clips during the "Sonic Theme Finale" part of the credits. That was just odd.

  • That 'happy birthday sonic!' cheer at the end was recorded at Summer of Sonic, so technically I'm in that somewhere! XD

Pretty much agree on the levels, Crisis City Act 2 drives me nuts with all the bottomless pits and lava everywhere, only level I can't seem to beat the doppelganger race on so far. Planet Wisp Act 1 is way too long but i didn't mind it much though the wisp controls there are not as good as they were in Colours.

  • @gagaman Hah, that's awesome.

I really should go to one of these Summer of Sonics one of the years.

  • @cymonsgames Well, these were listed in the game as actual levels. Green Hill Zone, Chemical Plant Zone, and the rest of the levels are all from the games listed.

  • @cymonsgames You pretty much just listed off spin-offs. Although Chaotix definitely deserved it's credits since the Chaotix themselves have been showing up in most recent Sonic games.

  • Wasn't there an Armadillo in Knuckle's group? I didn't see him anywhere in this game.

  • Welcome to the first day of school. Today we're gonna learn how to turn animals into robots.

  • I love that scene with the two Eggmans arguing with each other in the void. It's so amusing to see them interact with each other, especially how Classic Eggman thinks his modern version is completely insane.:)

  • @ACESpark oh.And you haven't answered to question about your steam accounts name

  • @MrShadow974 No, but it's very awkward to play as Modern Sonic on a keyboard.

  • @cymonsgames well black knight, riders and secret rings were the only ones what deserved to be in the credits
