The Planclan cooked up a big batch of several different types of traditional Russian perohy (aka pierogi). These are the pie/tart style dumplings, which are different than other perogies (or vareniki). We use my Grandma's traditional recipe, but here's a similar one: http://www.russlandjournal.de/en/recipes/baking/pierogi/

My nephew, Paxton, joined in on preparing the perohy with us. He's 2 years old and is learning more and more words every day. He's so fun! His Grandpa helps him out.
