cops just plain suck..they do us no good whatsoever except for what you said.. unfair traffic tickets.. damn it when i see a cop i should feel relief because i know he's out there protecting me and my country and making my town a better place to live in..but no my only feelings are hate, anxiety, and fear of being pulled over..it doesn't help when i drive an 86 two tone Caprice either

Here's a better one. I hate health care providers because the Health Care system is unethical. Then again you have a choice there also, you could go get leeched or just die. It's misplaced frustration. Also I'd argue you can move out of the country so you do have a choice. I think the Police in Canada are much nicer.

We do have a choice. We are protected by the constitution. Don't break the law and you don't have a problem. I don't and no one else I know does. Ya know minus the complaining about a speeding ticket. oh well. Also it's the LAWs that make your idea of no choice again not the Mcdonalds employees

Where I live cops dont even respond to house burglaries because they happen so often. They only respond to violent crimes where someone is shot or stabbed.

The part about Ohio cops and their word against another's word is not entirely true. My dad (we live in Ohio) had got a ticket for not waiting 3 seconds at a stop sign, he took it to court with no lawyer and he didn't have to pay the ticket. He also fought another ticket but it was only because he accidentally burned rubber when trying to pull out of his parking space, he used excessive acceleration so he wouldn't get trapped in traffic, his actual speed was only 10-15 mph when pulling out.
