On a positive note of the captivity in a zoo, the Blue and Golds are given enough space to fully develop their feathers. I have seen way too many kept as pets in too small environments that never fully develop flight and tail feathers and the birds always look a bit mangled.

@onmilo Yeah thats true .Although nothing beats being free and wild. I think some zoos do a decent job with parrots by providing adequate space and a wild scenery. It helps the parrots be themselves and gives visitors more insight as to what they are like in nature. I thought I wouldn't really enjoy it as much as I really did. Thanks
