@chushinryoku Lots of stuff isnt necessarily knew as much as tenth planet has categorized and systematized their usage and their entries and exits. 10th Planet promotes unique positions and techniques that may have been unpopular and show how it can be renewed to catch your opponent off guard.
They use stuff from as u said Judo, as AznInvazn69Theory said Greco Roman, capoeira, collegiate wrestling, sambo, and any others that would be useful...

you can also see it in greco-roman. thats why eddie considers the 10th planet system as "Greco-Roman jujitsu"

That's because even the stuff in tenth planet isn't that new. I'm not trying to take away from Eddie, I love his stuff, but I've seen probably 95% of the 'unique' stuff from tenth planet in Judo, especially Kosen.

Keith is lights years ahead. He is so technical and for a big guy uses no strength. It was an honor to teach at his school.
