  • Will the network providers cause any trouble in any case they find out I did this?

  • @mamataroy In answer to both your questions; The code is chimney=enabled and no this won't effect your network providers as it's only changing the settings on your computer to optimize your speed. So no, you won't get in any trouble as it's not illegal and they aren't able to find out either. I hope this answers your questions but if you have any more, feel free to ask :D

  • danstickman I wrote the first code wrong, I wrote chiney=enabled instead of chinmey=enabled, allot of weird things appeared, Is this going to affect my pc ??

  • @Zo0ody9 it shouldn't, but to undo it just type chinmey=disabled. Please let me know if anything else happens

  • @Zo0ody9 Sorry, I meant type 'chiney=disabled'. Or however you spelled it wrong, type that again but with disabled.

  • WOOW it realy works, didnt expect that :)

  • @jopi328 awesome, I'm glad it worked.

  • @danstickman1 sorry. I meant chinmey=enabled.

  • @danstickman1 is the code chimney=enabled or is it chimney=enabled

  • Code:

    cd/

    netsh int tcp show global

netsh int tcp set global chimney=enabled

netsh int tcp set global autotuninglevel=normal

netsh int tcp set global congestionprovider=ctcp

    netsh int tcp show global

    --------------------------------------------------

*Now you can close command prompt*

  • netsh int tcp set global autotuninglevel=normal

    not found
