My X needed a video for her college class, so I wipped this up and got her an A+. It's my first video, and not the best, but I'm still happy with it over all.
The song is by Devo and is highly mis-understood. Apparently a lot of people assume that someone later added the lines,"for you, not me", but infact that's how the song goes.
Infact Devo also made a video for this which is laid out pretty much the same as this one, only less gore. :)

I first heard this when i was about 16YO - DEVO managed to capture the good & bad aspects of humanity as well as reflect on what humanity is doing to this beautiful planet

@Edbuoy44 But the sarcasm is the whole point. The RATM version lacks the subtlety of the original imo, and that's really what this song hinges on.

Actually, by listening to the song, but never seeing the original video, this is kind of how I pictured a suitable music video would look like.
Historical footage of technological advancement intervened with human savage behavior and war footage.
Guess DEVO was more subtle with their video.
