i think hes gonna fuck it all up big time thts what i think, not one film hes made have i liked. And i dont like him as a person, i think hes an idiot. He better not screw it up or his career will be fucking finished for good.

WONDERFUL. Del Toro makes excellent movies. Him + Jackson=EPIC.

With Del Toro as director we can at least be sure of some awesome visuals. There are a lot of creatures in the Hobbit after all: giant spiders, goblins, wargs, giant eagles, trolls, and of course Smaug, and Del Toro is the master of monsters. :D On the other hand it'll be interesting how they handle stuff like the riddle scene, or the Elvenking's palace.
