Yes, and his books were among the best I've read. His way of expressing himself wasn't only clear, precise etc., it was also beautiful. And the way he looked at life, made life joyful, interesting, fine.

He must have been a brave person to have lived the way he did - leave his home and everything he knew to travel so far away and to such lonely places. Especially back then. I don't think anyone today can imagine what it was like, no matter how much we read ... :-) Truly an amazing life!

Yes, one of the reasons I very much look forward to Benedicte's book, is that it covers periods of his life Helge has not written about himself.
