Ketones are the byproduct of fat being broken down to use for fuel, and they are the heart and brain's PREFERRED source of energy. They have nothing to do with protein. Get your facts straight and stop spreading misinformation, pal.

am not sure whom this fella is but he really is talking out of his arse.
He needs to read Richard Veech whom studied at Harvard and latterely Cambridge as i recall.Ketones fuel heart and brain 25% more efficiently than glucose.
He might be well meaning but 'the road to...."

Hey everyone! The readers on the blog corrected me on ketones. They can be produced when you're burning protein, but that is in more extreme cases, more likely it's when you're body is burning fat! Thanks for watching!
