I have 9 bottles left in my fridge. I'm trying to nurse them as best as I can. I was lucky enough to find a place that had 8 or 9 cases left and have been picking up 2 or 3 bottles here and there. I am more of a scotch fan than a beer fan but this is the best pumpkin beer I have ever had. Souther Tier gets an A+ in my book because they do all of their beers well.

Honestly i was really disappointing with this beer. I've had it twice, two different years, and it more than let me down. Now i have to admit that i had heard so much about it that my expectations were very high, so i might be a little unfair. I believe my problem was the body, way too light, especially combined with the strength of the spices. The best analogy i can think of is fresh peppercorn flavored club soda. Carbonated, watery, and burning with spice...

@BeerGeekNation Had this beer while watching the review, Only thing I did not notice as much as you was the alcohol. For me it was well hidden, or decently hidden. Then again im use to drinking big beers and this beer seemed spot on. Great review, Im looking forward to next years batch already!

I've yet to find an imperial pumpkin ale that can even come close to ST Pumking. I really like Hoppin Frog's Double Pumpkin and many others.. but Pumking is so unique and one of the most appropriately named beers ever.
this shit is fucking delicious
