@sukhoi235 Amazing video. I have always loved Sukhois. Beautiful aircrafts they are. I know that must be a shock, an American who likes Russian fighters! I saw another video, a copy of this one. In my opinon top 5 operational fighter jets would be Su-35, F-22, Su-30, F-18E/F and MiG-29K/KUB. Why? Sukhois because radar, weaponry and manouverability, F-22 because stealth, F-18E because manouverability and MiG-29K because of radar and manouverability. I would actually put 6 planes because i cant make top 5 list witout F-15C.

F-35 VTOL was based partially on Russian Yak-141. You can find info that Lockheed purchased Yakovlev`s design data. It has under 2 mach max speed. And most important, it only has 2 internal pylons for weapons. And everything that`s but on external pylons drastically reduces plane`s stealth capability. Other than that F-35 is in development for almost 10 years and had tons of problem in development.

PAK-FA has 2 times ferry range of F-22, 5500km. PAK-FA can carry R-37 long range anti awacs missiles (400km range) unlike F-22. PAK-FA has 3D TVC unlike F-22s 2D TVC. Both PAK-FA and Su-35 have new electronic systems for blocking AWACS jamming. And both PAK-FA and F-22 are stealth. There is not a single thing that F-22 is better in. F-22 was made 10 years ago and as far as i know there werent any major upgrades.

As i said, only 3 crashed at airshows, one was Russian and plane was undamaged on Bratislava airshow in 1997. Other 2 were Ukrainian on Sknyliv airshow and Belarussian on Radom air show. Type all of that in google and you will find that info is true. PAK-FA has AESA radar 2 times stronger than F-22, 400km range. Other than that it also has 2 more smaller radars and 2 warning radars.

@sukhoi235 dude ur already on youtube, just type in sukhoi crash. It doest really get any more clear cut than that.

Also y would pak fa be better than f-22 nothing else the russians have mad is better. Some of their stuff is on par or is better in a few ways but worse ina few others. but pretty much never just plain better. lets face it its a 'me too!' plane. As for f-35.... stealth, supersonic, VTOL. The whole world has been trying to do that ever since the harrier.... its pretty great lol

Kobra was invented because US radar would lost the plane if he made that manouver and it would need to search and track him again, Kulbit was made for dogfight, getting rid of enemy on your tail, and other manouvers like loop, barrel roll, turn slide are common for any fighter in the world. F-22 is great plane, best in the world (not counting pak-fa it`s probably superior to F-22 but we dont know yet), but F-35 isnt really something THAT great, its good but not great

I love that stereotype about Sukhoi crashes on airshows. Only RUSSIAN Su-27 that crashed was on Bratislava airshow in 1997 when landing gear wasnt working and still pilot manage to land the plane on missiles pylons without any damage to the aircraft. Other 2 that crashed are Ukrainian and Belarus Su-27, both same way, pilot`s mistake when doing loop. All those manouvers they perform on airshows (Kobra, Kulbit etc.) are real battle manouvers, not for fun or show off

@sarcasticscrodum yup, the russian pilots KNOW theyre better. Well with one exception, you could argue sukhoi's are better for airshows (although russian pilots still manage to crash), but the f22 and f35 are definitely better planes for fighting in combat situations. hens the PAK FA program.
