Mitchum's the greatest. His sleepy lion expression, & understated but unmistakable masculinity still does the job. As a guy, I feel like I should be taking notes.

Shirley has very pretty sheer skin. It looks luminous in this movie. And the white blouse and dark skirt is so timeless; my favorite look! Robert Mitchum seems not to fit at first. Smart movie.
