I agree with Thomas K regarding the use of the last car on each train being transformed into a bikes only car. Single folding seats attached to the side walls would help those needing seats. At the present time bikes interfere with the disabled and seniors. Exits are routinely blocked by bikes which should be illegal. Even if the cyclists are courteous, it still makes it difficult to get to the exits.

On the last train, all cyclists must stand their bicycles up vertically and attached them to clamps that are built into the celiling. Each rider then sits directly behind their own bike in single oriented seats. All seats on the left alternate, so that enough space is allowed to let each bike down into its horizontal position without interferring with other passenger cyclists. The last car should be able to accommodate approximately 30 cyclists, with only 20 allowed to be seated.

Just make the last car for primarily cyclists, but may accommodate others as well. Make all the other cars primarily for pedestrians, but will accommodate only 4 cyclists! These rules do not apply to foldables...

Get big windows for the new cars, where every seat by a window, like windows 4 or 5 seats long. MORE SEATS TOO!!! MULTIPLE WINDOWS ON THE SIDES AND IN BETWEEN THE DOORS.

I was wondering that myself. I am not a biker, but just on behalf of bikers, what if it's off peak and they're on a 5 car train or something? I can be wrong, but I guess they are referring to rules during the rush hour commute meaning 6:30am-9am, and 4:30pm-7pm. I guess all other hours after those times shown bikes are allowed on anywhere besides the first car.

No bikes on the first 3 cars? What is the train is only 3 cars?
