So many Youtube videos of solo piano playing sound harsh - it hurts the ear to listen to them. THIS, however, has a wonderful piano sound that's a joy to listen to.

You can hear a lot of American jazz improv in this song--e.g. Coltrane's version of My Favorite Things. But there's a decidedly Arabic flavor heard as it unwinds, and you can hear it clearly in the concert recordings when Robby really stretches out. Something ancient, like a strand of fabric unwinding in the mind. Something poignant.
You have such a feel for the Doors compositions serenties! Wondrous.
