"Luke" - Pride Agenda's TV ad calling for equal treatment for all New York families

Karen Schuster of Rochester, NY has a gay son and three straight children. She wants to know why her son Luke does not have the same rights as her daughter Jessica. In Karens words, If Jessica meets someone and falls in love and wants to get married, she can. But if Luke meets someone and falls in love and wants to get married, he can't. It's not equal treatment. This painful situation is the reality for thousands of families across New York State. We need the New York State Senate to act now and pass the marriage equality bill so that same-sex couples will no longer be treated as second-class citizens.

It is an indictment on a country founded on the principal that "All Are Created Equal". Until all citizens are equal in Law, the US cannot be seen to be the standard bearer of Democracy and Liberty. I hope Luke and the thousands of L&G who wish to get married will have their prayers answered. Luke, you are an inspiration to many!

Everyone has the right to get married.

Anyone who would tell a woman, 'Oh, in our infinite wisdom, we have decided that your son will NEVER be "allowed" to get married,' . . .

is just cruel.

I think homophobes just don't think clearly.

People who are so obsessed with preserving the "sanctity of heterosexual marriage" should probably focus their campaigns on slightly more relevant issues like heterosexual divorce and heterosexual adultery and heterosexual domestic violence.

And just what does the word "abomination", as used in the Bible really mean? Because the Hebrew word used in that verse in Leviticus is the same Hebrew word used to describe shellfish, pork, and all animals that the Jews were not allowed to eat. That word doesn't imply some sort of moral evil, but a ceremonial and ritual uncleanness.

Oh by the way, why don't you look up all the things Jesus had to say about homosexuality. Oh wait, he didnt say anything about it. He was too busy loving people.
