This reporter is a f***ing idiot. I started working as an EMT at 18 and i've been doing it for almost 5 years already. This is a prime example of a HATER!!!!! He's just mad that he's a reporter....and not doing anything life saving like these "pimply faced teenagers"

I was little I used to watch this show called In a Heartbeat it was about 4 high school students who were volunteer EMT’s. I thought they were so cool and decide when I grew up I was going to be come an EMT. Those kids are probably very responsible sometimes high school kids can be a lot more responsible than some adults. I really wish I could have been an EMT in high school.

Kids dont get enough credit. Sorry reporter that you were insignificant in your teenhood. keep in mind that kids do "grown up" things all the time. Its the experiance of our elders and the sweat of our young that make the world work. Are you surprised that kids fight wars as well Mr. Reporter. 1 Timothy 4:12 Beoch!!!

Coming from a 17 year old EMT-B, Age has nothing to do with it. I would rather have a kid that has grown up in EMS then an Adult who just had his first ride time... The kind of "kid" that actually practices being an EMT is more capable then a lot of adults. Just what I think.

I would love to join

wow that guys an asshole
HEYY ASSHOLE when you were a kid you were a pimply faced teenager so first screw you. Next, they might be young but they probably know more than you, and if some one passes out in front of them they wouldn't shit their pants and run away yelling " MOMMY MOMMY" they would do something and save the persons life.
