  • What do you mean "if it is not in force..."? - It became law on 1/12/09...Cameron has blatantly copped out and the British people will continue to have no say on EU membership. There won't be any Tory referenda while our laws will continue to take the Eurostar out of London...BTW I'm pro-EU, I just believe in democracy and will accept it if any vote goes against my personal wishes. This topic needs a national debate and referendum.

  • @TheBritishWatcher no it is not David Cameron is Tony bLAIR in blue.

and it is naive to think it is easy to take back powers from the EU.

IT IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH WE WANT ARE INDEPENDENCE WE WANT BRITAIN TO BE GREAT AGAIN YOU TORY'S ENJOY THE EU GRAVY TRAIN TOO MUCH TO LET GO.

That's why i will vote for my country's independence i will vote UKIP

  • @Tostig68 The Torys love the EU gravy train.

  • The Tories don't have the balls to withdraw from Europe so we'll just muddle along one foot in one foot out as usual. Plus ca change...

  • margret thatcher sold britain out in 1991 in the maastricht treaty, tony blair completed the job signing the lisbon treaty. the roman empire has risen once again. we're fucked!

  • Cameron is a worthless liar

  • the UAF are puppets for the mainstream politics and just like when the unded Iraq, they will turn and become the next extreme IRA.

People will suffer due these rash politics!

  • Camerons position on the referendum is very clear.

If the lisbon treaty is not inforce there will be a referendum. If it is inforce then theres not alot that can be done about the treaty, and its obvious there will not be a referendum on it.

What the conservatives have said is they will seek further transfer of powers BACK to the UK and they will amend the law to force any transfer of power to Brussels to require a referendum

That is good enough and far better than the libdems or labour

  • left scum off our streets
