Video montage of the National Equality March in Washington D.C. on Sunday, October 11, 2009 (on National Coming Out Day). Over 200,000 LGBT and Straight Americans descended upon Washington D.C. to demand equal protection under the law in all matters governed by civil law in all 50 states, as entitled by the 14th Amendment to our United States Constitution. The video includes appearances by Lt. Dan Choi, Cleve Jones and the Broadway cast of Hair. Set to an original song I wrote for the National Equality March called "Equality Now".

@CubanExile If you actually read the bible, you would know 2 things. One god loves homosexuals, every verse in the bible that is against homosexuality, strictly prohibits it between people who are straight, who desire to "switch" and want to "pretend being gay". Not to actual people who are gay. And the Bible never says the word marriage, what it says is "A man shall leave the house, and cleave onto a woman.". And in Ruth, it says "Ruth cleaves onto Naomi." And it was celebrated with God.

What do you mean, "Even the police had smiles on their faces that day"?. Just because someone is involved with law enforcement, doesn't mean they want to subjugate you. Don't be so surprised by your support, asshole.
I bet you're writing in your diary right now how great "that day" was.. to me, it's pathetic, and it's inefficient waste of time.. you should either be drinking on yer days off or you should be workin' on side projects.. not crying and whining.

Fantastic video!! I have been with my partner for 2 and a half years!!! Proud of who I am. Love is love whether its between a man/woman, man/man, woman/woman! Closets are for broomsticks not people! CubanExile, I believe in a God that loves all people including those who are gay and straight and celebrates both gay and straight marriages. I treasure our American right to freedom of religion, and I respect your religious beliefs as much as I hope you respect mine.
