Gay Marriage Awareness Commercial Contest

Please watch the entire thing in order to understand ;). Here's the catch about the poem in case you didn't understand: When read one way, it captures all of the negativity about why people say gay marriage shouldn't be legalized. When the poem is reversed, suddenly things can change. It symbolizes if humanity can reverse it's stance on gay marriage, than we could finally live in an equal society.

My goal for the video wasn't just to talk about how sad it is gay marriage hasn't been legalized, but to ensure that there's hope for the future, if only we can reverse the poem ;)

The spokesmodel is Kira, I thought she would be great for this because she's a model and also a lesbian. Everything in this video was done by me: I wrote the poem (took awhile!), made the rainbow ribbon, and of course drew Kira.

I'm christian, and I support gays and lesbians, but not gay marriage. To me, marriage is something between a man and a woman. I believe that gays and lesbians should not be prejudiced against, should be allowed to love whoever, be given the same opportunities as straight people, and be allowed to live with their significant other. But you can't say it's not a sin. That's going against the religion of others. Nobody really knows what is and isn't sinful.

@chesiregirl I think its fine that you believe what you believe, but my question is, should someone's religious beliefs be forced onto someone else? Should my religious beliefs about marriage or anything else forced upon you? if not then what someones religious beliefs are, are besides the point. if you do not agree with gay marriage don't marry another woman its that simple.

I'm bisexual and my mother supports gays and lesbians only, not bisexuality. When I told her I was bisexual she was very VERY angry with me and actually beat me. But now she doesn't mined me being bisexual, but she still doesn't support it. :(

i love this, and completely agree. especially with the federal rights being taken away. this is one of the main reasons that i love lady gaga, because she completely supports gay marriages and gay rights.i hate how gays can't be in the army, because it will make the others feel uncomfortable. the homophobes should leave. not the homosexuals.

i support gay marriage, and basically i fight against homophoby. like getting into arguements with homophobes all the time.. xD
