"steampunk" is a literary genre made popular by Jules Vern.
Imagine if you take all of today and future technologies re-engineering them to work off steam instead of fossil fuels. Cars would have coal furnaces, boilers, and smoke stacks instead of gas tanks, exhaust pipes. Its a hypothetical look at the world if the information age hit a decade early. Plastic was never invented and brass took its place. Computers and ray guns in the same era as steam trains and silent picture shows

Yeah man, if you go to a crafts store like AC moore or Michael's you can find them near the other metal bits. They usually come in packs. Just ask someone that works there where the metal trinkets are. They are usually by scrapbooking stuff. Thanks alot for the comment man, with just a little patience and some creativity you can do the same stuff!
