Punk Jews (Trailer)

Punk Jews is a documentary film that tells the story of a new movement of artists, activists, and musicians who are creating a community of radical Judaism in New York City. From rebelling against orthodoxy to exploring unique ways of expressing culture and spirituality, Punk Jews documents three individuals who are taking Judaism to a place that celebrates freedom of expression and brings a new discourse to religious communities by creating an invitation for contemporary expressions in ancient traditions. @musinman i agree it a good movement but the torah on unmodest woman is too much @PunkJews maybe make the style more modest.i know it a form of expression but it very offense

I was really ok with all this expression until I saw someone use a Sefer Torah's mantle and use it on a runway model...too much :( I believe in expression...guided and not misguided expression.

i wasn't really buying into this story until i saw the Rebbe at the 2:53 mark.

Anyways, im a jew myself and with all this talk about peace... I think it would be a cool collaboration with the Taqwacore's (Muslim Punk Scene) ...
