This is how i set up my 10 gallon fry tank. I has been working very well for me. it will work for many fish fry. This is a 10 gallon tnak with a 10 gallon heater and 10 gallon filter.

  • its the net that goes on a screen door. i got it from a old screen door i had. but you might could get it at lowes

  • Do you have to cycle the tank when setting a tank up for baby fish?

  • where did you get the divider? is it glued?

  • they look the same size, what's up with the tank divider? The hose deal is a really good idea. Seems like a lot of work though. At petsmart they have those really fine netting bag...so you can buy like carbon and such in bulk and just put them in the bag for the filter. I just tied that around the intake for the filter...Got that idea from a fellow youtuber worked great for my danio fry. And lot less work.

  • great idea man, i just had 40 Cichlid fry die on me in a cheap 1 gal set up with a air filter for 1-2gal tank. definatly gonna give this a go, maybe instead of snails would go for small pleco's and just keep trading them out when they start getting bigger
