Plus a Slash or Stampede if they break you just put on rpm and it will practically never break again, theres also so many mods for hobby rcs, so in the end you save money on having to buy a new cheap rc everytime it breaks. Plus the hobby rcs are faster, and when your kid can handle it really well you can throw in a brushless and boom more speed, unlike where cheap rcs your screwed to always be slow.

i have the old stampede too. i was wondering if you had to put metal gears? and im running a 7.2 1700mah with a speed gems 17 turn motor... im planning to get a 7.2 5000mah for $30 or a 8.4 5000mah hump pack for $54... what you think???

@preciadoalex123
what modle do you have and is it brushed or brushless.
6cell 7.2 batteries are stock.
when i first chose a better battery i looked for a 8cell 9.6V thats what was used in this video, the battery i used i got on ebay. i got
4X TENERGY 9.6V 3800MAH 8cells for 90 dollars. but that was 4 years ago
try checking out INTELLECT batteries those are mached cells and CHARGE, and RUN better. id really go with a 7 or 8 cell . . . OR LIPO IF POSSIBLE

how fast u think it tops with that 8 cell
rigthguard420 1 year ago
@rigthguard420 around 46-56
this is like 49
if you get a intelect ZAPPED 8 cell youll get 56mph. with proper gearing. the cells are mached so you get more performance

@rigthguard420
about 56mph costs about 50 bucks thou

where did you get those tires
12joden 1 year ago
@12joden these are actually the stock tires and rims on the older legacy models of the stampede these are not stock tallons these are older this stampede is 5 years old
Traxxas Part # "3670" Just make sure if you get all 4 to get the rear and front. the rims even on the recent models are slightly different whare the axle connects. youll notice this on any stampede tires and wheels the inside of the rim youll notice the front is clode and the rear hex hum is in more.
