India Arie is a woman a force to recond with. Even though, her force is suttle. India has been one of my favorites for years, but I haven't listend to this cd for at least 5 years. Now listening to it, I can remember exactly what I would do when listening to this song. I would dance in my room, open all the windows and let the breeze fill my hair, like this song fills my heart. Praise the LORD! I would listen to this song when I was hanging out in the world and it would make me feel good. I was around 19 or 20 and I was hustling, feeling myself and beginning to go in the wrong crowd. I carried a gun, wore tight clothing and got drunk a whole lot, but everytime I heard this song, it would make me feel real good on the inside, because this song is who I really wanted to step up and be. She was not hating or judging, it was just real. GOD BLESS HER AND ME AND YOU!!! UBU
