Nice heli and nice flying. Did u get any problems with the vibrations? I got one of this helis too, but im a bit afraid of the vibrations in the landing gear and the rest of the fuselage....
@Windsurfer7607 Hi! Yeah, you'll have to take care of the wooden tail part of the fuselage. I've added a piece of rubber / foam between the boom and wooden tail piece where you mount it to the boom to reduce transfer of vibrations as much as possible. I actually don't use the bigger metal spacers to mount the tail, those do seem to cause vibrations.
Some gyros certainly don't like vibrations, but I think I've got the vibrations reduced as much as I can now. It does fly reliable.
Is it easier flying with a fuselage than just stock? My thumbs aren't fast enough for my Belt SP V2... I just want to scale fly... Your scale flying looks awesome.
BTW do you like the MD500 - yours looks great! How different are the fuselages - are some models better and/or easier to fly? I am hoping the different weights and CG's might make it easier for me to fly :)
@rdewilde100 Thanks! Yeah, I like it a lot, but it's pretty difficult to fly the helicopter scale like I'm doing here. It's all about minute stick input. I'm no pro pilot by any means, but it's difficult to fly this scale fuselage slowly and scale-like. It will start to pick up speed pretty fast if you don't take it very easy, which is basically the very problem you're having with the stock Belt CP v2.I think you should look into Expo and how that works instead first and then later buy the Huey.
@ferreret Hi there! Thanks. Yes, the 40 amp ESC will be enough. In fact I've flown it quite a bit with the original Esky 30 amp ESC at first, but 40 amp is a bit better.
As far as electronics goes, it has the stock Belt CP v2 motor, Esky servos on the cyclic. KDS 40 amp ESC, KDS N290 servo on the tail and a HK-401B gyro.
One modification I did do was add quite a bit of weight in the nose of the helicopter. I'd say about 50gr or so.
Nice i also have a Belt CP it's inside a Agusta 109 it has a Blade400 head main gear and motor with all TowerPro servo,s futaba 401 Align 35amp esc thanks for sharing

Great job! Do you need to make more modifications to adapt this fuselage? I have a 40 amps ESC, and I'm not sure if is enough.
