poor relationships, people speaking negativity into your life, listening to and repeating lies....all these things hinder you from succeeding in recovery...God desires more for you! This is what He has been teaching me lately.

  • without my faith in Christ I would not have made it this far. I would be dead. Real talk. This has been the hardest thing I've had to go through. Fighting this disorder is not easy and my spirituality has been instrumental in my progress. It's what gives me hope.

  • Thanks for this message. It really means a lot. =) God Bless you!

  • praying hard for you sweet friend!!! look forward to hearing from you soon!!

    Love you!!

    Sarah

  • I will keep you in my prayers...May God be with you....

  • i love your perspective on what God wants to do through us especially during difficult times in our lives

    i'm praying for you!

  • Sorry things are difficult at the moment.

Your perspective and faith is truly inspiring.

Sent you a friend request - hope you don't mind :-)

  • also, do you have any good verses or words for finding contentment on harder days? like i find now that school is out and summer is here im turning to "old habits" almost out of bordem or restlessness :( i think its because i have so much free time to think about things i really dont need to be thinking about and of course that isnt always good in this case! even when im at work or anywhere, just knowing its summer is like a huge trigger to restrict and over exercise....

  • so sorry about the bad relationship but SO happy that you got out of it, and also the positive outlook that the Lord has laid on your heart! His grace and strength is so amazing and never ending in every situation <3

you are definitely embracing Gods gift of lifting others up as well(great verses, thx!) :)

  • I'm also so sorry you went through the bad relationship. Sometimes when we have EDs we are drawn to abusive relationships because we dont feel like we deserve any better b/c ED is just like an abusive relationship that we cant let go of, but you deserve so much better!!!! God bless

  • You look beautiful, hun!! Your job sounds so rewarding. Keeping unhealthy relationships or anything unhealthy in recovery definetly hinders us, I had a couple of those with people in my life and I had to distance myself from that friend. It's not worth it to listen to those kind of people, they can be toxic to us.
