I ask those who do not approve of the Royal Family. What will Britain be without the Royal Family? Is a cabinet capable of truly uniting the people in a situation of serious national emergency like another big war? Is democracy always correct? Is no class always good?

I love to see the pageantry. Something of the past. Yes they do cost the ppl a lot in tax money though. She has been a good queen. I think Princess Di would have made a good and beautiful queen. I hope that horse looking idiot is now happy. Her ex.

I think thats a very outsider perspective. There is almost unilateral support for the monarchy in the UK. Even the minority of republicans usually agree that the Queen has been an excellent head of state. Its easy to mistake the Queen as the last part of an outdated class system, but the reality is shes an 83 year old woman. Her accent, clothes and manner reflect her age. That aside, shes very much a 21st century monarch. I challenge you to find many 83 year old women that use the internet!
