Design Miami celebrated its opening with cocktails and hors d'oeuvres. The design fair presented international design galleries exhibiting historic and contemporary design. Design Miami also features Design Talks, Design Satellite Exhibitions, art/design installations, and other various collaborations with designers, critics, curators, cultural institutions, gallerists and collectors throughout the Miami Design District. FANTASTIC---Homage to the artist plastic Ivan Marquetti,was living in Ouro Preto,Brazil- and when it died in 2004.About the artist said once Vinícius de Morais: "And nevertheless of the quality and of the finish of the pictures and of his present phase, the artist is felt in full to blossom, like a sincere flower planted in favorable ground.." The video soundtrack has the performance of Toots Thielemans and the music is of Quincy Jones.Enjoy!!!
