In captivity loons are one of the most agressive birds towards humans that we handle. They dont hide or run, they charge and attack. It doesnt suprise me to see one coming after a human thats invading what he thinks is his personal space

@MichaelBoryAlis we see loons while diving quite a bit but I've never seen one "attack" like this again.

Yup, have dove there quite a few times since. I often see loons but nothing quite as up close and personal as before.
